The role of Product Listing Quality Engineer assists the Product Listing Team by evaluating and reviewing reports, generating certification renewal and corrective action reports, working with clients to review and update certification records, and ensuring product certification compliance are to standards. Duties also include assisting with internal audits, managing the database as necessary for new, revised, and inactive seals, making recommendations for continuous improvement, assisting the Staff Engineer with standards development, plus other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
· 0-3 years of experience in a role requiring engineering competence
· Experience with hydraulic or plumbing systems highly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Expert understanding of Excel. Knowledge of macro writing preferred.
· Ability to fail fast and learn quickly from mistakes
· Strong focus on client needs and ability to communicate & quickly act on them internally and externally
· Ability to manage, report regularly on, and follow up on dozens of small simultaneous projects
· Data entry, when required, is accurate
